Friendly Reminder
Don't forget our fall neighborhood garage/yard sale is next Saturday the 16th. We will be putting an add on Craigslist and also a large sign in the front of our sub. Time to clean out the garage before the cold weather comes in. :)

Overview of 9/14 Board Meeting
Thank you to all of you that attended last night's board meeting. It was nice to have a bigger turn out and see the homeowners involvement. Some things that were discussed are as follows:
All the walkways will be getting a new slurry coat finish this next month. This is part of the maintenance phase to keep them from deteriorating.
If you notice any broken sprinkler heads, vandalism, etc ... please inform Joe at Snake River HOA with the problem and the area. Thank you!
Mike Ivey is still looking for more volunteers for the Social Committee and also for the Neighborhood Watch Program.
The pool is still open. We have extended the closing date as long as the weather permits.
If you are interested in coming to the meetings everyone is invited. If you have an issue you'd like to address please email or call Joe at Snake River HOA 855-0505 with your issue so that he can address it on the agenda.

Parents Be On The Watch Out
On Friday after school 2 girls were approached by a lady in her 30's-40's with a wig on in a blue ford taurus. She asked the girls if they wanted to pet her dog. The girls walked over to the car and pet the dog while she got in the car. After the girls pet the dog they began to walk down Yucca Canyon toward their home. The car then began to follow the girls down the street and asked if they wanted a lollipop. The older girl kept walking but the younger girl went back to the car to get the lollipop. A neighbor overheard what was going on and came out of her garage and walked up to the car and asked the girl if she knew the lady. She said she didn't but the lady in the car said that she was an 'Auntie'. By this time the Dad came over to the car and informed the lady that he was the Dad and it was not alright for her to offer candy to his girls. She then drove off and he was able to get a picture of the car.
The police have been notified and are aware of the situation. We want everyone to know what has happened so that we can all be on the look out for things like this.

HOA Board Meetings
It has been brought to our attention that the homeowners are unaware of when the HOA has their board meetings. These meetings are open to the homeowners if they would like to come. We typically have them on the 2nd Tuesday of every month. If you are interested in attending please let Joe @ Snake River HOA know and if you have any issues you'd like addressed so that he can put it on the agenda. He would like at least a weeks notice. We welcome all homeowners! :)

We Need Your Help
There have been sightings of homeowners and subcontractors driving through vacant lots. Some of these lots we have tried to barricade but some people are still driving through them. This is a real eye sore to the subdivision. Boise Hunter Homes is willing to work with us in trying to catch some of the people doing this. If you see someone driving through these vacant lots please jot down the model and make of car and license plate number too if you can. If the vehicle is a subcontractor with the name of the company please email David Paul the Superintendent with that info. They are able to fine any subcontractors found doing this. Otherwise please email me with the information. Thank you everyone for you help and support in keeping our subdivision beautiful and safe.
