Saguaro Canyon HOA Board Meeting Minutes
Brad Hom – Welcomed everyone attending. All board members were present, Joe and 8 other home owners. Approved last months minutes.
Joe – Financials $297,200 in checking, $75,500 in Money Market, $25,000 in CD, $55,800 in accounts receivable. Total current assets $454,700. Another CD has been set-up. Joe just paid the Settler’s water bill of $45,000. Currently no water pressure yet. Total deposits for month of March was $63,000. Aged receivables (collections) is $18,000.
Eric – Landscaping, Idaho Landscaping has started spring cleaning the sub. They will be adding a few more trees and bark. Cory Stambaugh noted that they have been over watering the grass and landscaping and suggested going to watering half of the sub one day and the other half the following day. Cory will address his ideas with Idaho Landscaping. He also suggested bringing in an arborist. Also suggested changing watering times. Discussed having a formal meeting with Idaho Landscaping Company. Also discussed the new homes in the North end of the sub that don’t have trees planted in front of them yet. Boise Hunter Homes has asked to give them until 4/15 to finish any landscaping due to the wet weather lately. We have 33 home sites that have not passed compliance or are in the process of being built. We are holding a $1000 deposit until the reach compliance. Bill McMillan suggested not giving the 1k back and use it to meet the code/compliance. Also, not letting new homes be built until previous homes have met compliance. Brad will check with attorney to see if that is an option. Tossed the idea of putting liens on every lot to insure 1k deposit on new home sites.
Robyn – Easter egg hunt is Saturday the 23rd. Got the okay to buy Easter eggs and candy for the hunt. Doug suggested we have the cook off and pool opening the same day. Joe is going to try and have the pool opening May 21st. Robyn will send out another newsletter this week.
Doug – A request for pool hours to be extended or earlier for adult swim time. Joe will check with the pool maintenance crew to see if that will be a problem. Joe is also going to look into purchasing more pool furniture and chairs. Powder coated umbrella’s was suggested which would be a permanent structure. No climbing signs will also be made for a couple of the structures around the pool and pond area.
Scott – ACC is staying ontop of any requests. Fence staining violations will be going out soon. We may need to change the language on the ACC’s regarding the coloring of the stain. Also suggested putting in the newsletter that the smoke stacks need to be painted black and that violations will be going out about those as well.
